By accessing or using BookHive, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate registration information, maintain the security of your credentials, and promptly notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
You agree not to use BookHive to:
Automated accounts and bots are permitted provided they clearly identify themselves as automated, are non-disruptive, respect rate limits, and comply with all other terms. We reserve the right to suspend automated accounts that violate these conditions.
You retain ownership of the content you create. Because BookHive is built on ATProto, your content is stored on your Personal Data Server and is public by design. By using BookHive, you grant us a limited license to display and cache your public ATProto content to operate the service.
Public content on BookHive should comply with Bluesky's Community Guidelines as they apply across the ATProto network. We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these standards.
BookHive is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding uptime or availability. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
Because BookHive is built on ATProto, you are never locked in. You may migrate your account to any other compatible PDS at any time using standard ATProto migration tools. We will not prevent or obstruct account migrations.
BookHive is a free service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to data loss, service interruptions, or security breaches arising from your use of the service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your data on our servers will be removed in accordance with our data retention policy above.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes are indicated by an updated "Last updated" date below. Your continued use of BookHive after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
